my dear friends,
now a lot of discussion is going on regarding FDIs. As a common man here
I am sharing my thoughts.
First of all let us list out what are the pros and cons of FDIs
pros
1.compition in market increases. So demand to the product
from market people increases. So farmer
will get reasonable price for
his product.
2. Markets will buy product directly from farmers. So there
will be no mediators. This can be advantage to Farmers as well as customers.
3.Already we allowed foreign companies in IT, Automobile
Industry etc..In those industries millions of jobs created in India. In the
same way due to FDIs also millions of jobs
will be created.
these are the some of the pros listed by the pro-FDI people.
Now let me analyze the above things.
when we see the above things we think they are right. when
we look in to them.. .
As normal business people can't afford more
when compare to Wal-Mart etc..after some days all the small businesses will be
closed. After that all the Indian retail market will be in the hands of 1 or 2
big companies, and then automatically they will decide the price of the product.
If the farmer is not ready to sell his product to them for their price they
will buy some other genetically modified product from Africa or Indonesia or
their own forms from America .Then it will be very difficult to re-Establish
Indian style retail shops immediately. As this market is developed from
hundreds or thousands of years in India. Some families completely dependent on
this.
Now in India Crores of people are working in retail market. I don't
think that these foreign companies will give such many jobs.
The next move of the foreign companies will be to get the market of
seeds and fertilizers. They will supply genetically modified seeds and
fertilizers to Farmers and will make agreement with farmers and will buy their products.
Or they will force farmers to use their seeds and fertilizers .But after some
years all the natural seeds with farmers will be lost. As genetically modified
seeds won't produce new seeds the farmers need to depend on companies
completely.
At last my view
is concentration of business to some companies is very Dangerous. And
particularly to those companies which represents other countries is very
Dangerous. India is very big market. So, In all possible ways those countries
will try to occupy our country's market.
one more thing please pardon for my Vinglish.
